credit report. where do I get the 3 credit reports that the government says we entitlted to receive for free?

rnhard7 asked:

annually. Not sure if this is a scam but from what I understand I am entitled to receive one from each bureau annually for free. If anybody knows anything about this, please enlighten me with your knowledge and info. Seen a bunch of commercials and hear that most of them promising you a free report is a scam and they want you to end up paying. Just want to fix my credit and need a starting point.thank you

will give you all three reports free. You can get them all at once or one now and the rest later. You can get each one once a year. There is only a small fee if you want your “credit score”. That last time I got my credit score I think it cost $6.

Contact your bank, contact your credit card company(s) or apply for a loan and the bank will automatically check your credit and they have to provide a source where you can get your full report for free.

Here are some great suggestions for you, this is priceless.

They will be in my sources I personally after 1year and 10 months went from low 600′s to now 714 Trans union 730Experian Equifax 690 Still working to get the positive trade lines added to Equifax that should be there from my student loans and 2 of my credit cards don’t report to them for some odd reason..

You can go to for the government 3 and I also have been a member of A Very, Very, Good site with people of years of experience that can help you for free.

I Highly Suggest Going to Creditboards.com

is really free, is the only website that offers the free reports that you are guaranteed by law, and does not advertise on television.

As far as I know, none of the sites advertised on television are free.
As far as I know, none of the sites with the word “free” in their URL (web address) are free.

Each of the 3 companies have web sites. You can request the form there. Fill it out and mail it back. In 3-6 weeks they will send you a copy of your report.
